Why does clip art images don't get blurry when you enlarge them?

I enlarged some google images and they get blurry. Then i tried clip art images and the don't get blurry.

This is a matter of a pixel file vs. raster file. Pixels are tiny blocks that make up a picture. Hypothetically, no matter how much you manipulate a picture it will still have that same number of pixels in it. They do not multiply but remain the same in number. Thus as you stretch the picture the pixels stretch with it causing the image to become fuzzy and out of focus. A raster file is the anti pixel file. No matter how much you manipulate it, it will remain looking as sharp as its original size. This is because raster files use line vs. pixels. Google images in general are pictures that were saved at 90 dpi and are jpeg (pixelated) files. Whereas, clip art images are usually raster files. (I'm not the best at explaining but I hope that helps). If you need a certain image at a larger size then look under google images size large. You can then shrink the image to any size you want. 😀
